"There is a depth of truth, this depth of being that wants itself known, felt, expressed, met. It makes you want to soar, to fly on eagle wings, to master your own dreams, to find true freedom. To create a masterpiece of life. Take all the pieces of life and create a new quilt. One that shines with love and light."

Source of Joy

Source of Joy

Inside me it was quiet all day
Outside me it was noisy all day
Inside me spirit dwells
Outside me turmoil reins
I waited until midnight for silence
For Spirit to quiet the noise of the day
Then peace descended like a blanket of stars
And joy awoke with the dawn            Lovelight

Joy is the feeling we get when everything in our life is wonderful. When we feel completely loved, healed, whole, alive. When we have great moments of rejoicing and celebration, such as a wedding or the birth of a baby. Joy comes with our first kiss, or the ecstasy of being in love. We find joy in the fulfillment of our dreams and wishes. In the understanding of living in the moment and enjoying each and everyone of those moments. Joy is in loving, sharing, caring. Joy is the moment of feeling God’s guidance, of answered prayer.

Joy feels like a bursting of happiness. A bubbling up of pure delight. A feeling of walking a few inches above the ground. As if you could fly on wings of silver light. Joy brings a feeling of deep power that knows no limits, a knowing you can do any and all things. Joy refreshes and renews and gives you a sense of complete freedom. From deep within joy springs to light and produces complete bliss. The beauty of the world rests on pure joy.

Looking at the night sky with its billions of stars, wanting to reach out and touch them or to capture the moonbeams. That feeling is joy. Be surprised by joy--cultivate joy.

And the greatest joy of all is the indescribable brightness that floods our soul when the Holy Spirit abides within. For when we know where our source of joy comes from, we can embrace the path of joy, having gratitude for all Gods blessings and for each day given us as a gift. Gratitude brings joy.

Joy is a feeling of great happiness or pleasure, elevated to the heights of elation. And when we know that our source of joy comes from the Holy Spirit, our joy can soar to the heights of ecstasy.

Peace and Joy to All
